I’m just a regular 24 yr old gal who has a healthy fear of cubicles and a strong addiction to travel. Since graduating from college in 2006, I’ve had a slew of odd jobs all in the name of avoiding the fearful 9 to 5. I’ve been a fly-fishing guide in Alaska, a cook on a scuba diving boat in the Bahamas, a member of a hot air balloon chase crew in California, and a river raft guide in Western United States. I’ve been in India for three months already and I’m now ready for the real adventure to begin.
I got the idea for this website in part from the Choose My Adventure books written in the 1980s and 1990s, but mostly out of continuous speedbumps thrown into my own travel plans through Africa, Central America and Asia. You can’t control jack squat when you’re traveling-might as well let somebody else decide where you’re gonna go and what you’re gonna do. The true adventure happens along the way.
